Ms. Keira Knightley has signed on to star in the adultery drama Last Night. We get wind of this casting, and plot summary from the professionals at Variety

Keira Knightley, Eva Mendes, Sam Worthington and Guillaume Canet are set to star in “Last Night.” Pic marks the feature directing debut of Massy Tadjedin, who wrote the script.

Story follows a married couple, apart for a night while the husband takes a business trip with a colleague to whom he‘s attracted. While he‘s resisting temptation, his wife encounters her past love.

Husband and wife have lots in common, including adulterous lust! With luck they will come to an understanding by the end of the film and start throwing key parties. A film that starts out as a drama but ends as a lighthearted comedy about the birth of fledgeling swingers would suit me just fine. Sadly I don’t think this is how this film will play out.

I am just trying to figure out how I should read into the word “encounters”? Does she run into the guy at a Wal Mart, or does their encounter lead to an encounter?
